She remembers choosing carpet colours and reading building plans from a young age.

McLean has held roles in kitchen design, commercial office fitouts, carpentry and sales and marketing. Her latest role is running her Katikati company Tiny House Builders, which she started in 2017.
About three and a half years ago, McLean moved from Auckland to Katikati after her tiny home received plenty of interest at a Tauranga Homes Show.
BEIJING (Reuters) - China is expected to release the results of its once-in-a-decade census conducted late last year on May 11, according to a notice from the State Council Information Office. Officials from the census and statistics bureaus will brief the media on the census results on May 11, the State Council Information Office said in a notice on Sunday. The National Bureau of Statistics said previously that the results would be released at a media briefing scheduled for early April. It later said the announcement had been delayed, as more preparatory work needed to be done. (Reporting by Ryan Woo, Hallie Gu and Xiao Han; Editing by Himani Sarkar)
Work on Margalla Avenue likely to start in 6 months
Islamabad

Islamabad : After a long pause, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has resumed work on the construction of much needed ‘Margalla Avenue’, around 33.5 km long dual carriageway, which will link the Grand Trunk (GT) Road near ‘Nicholson Minar’ with the ‘Murree Expressway’, skirting the Margalla hills.
The work on the ‘Margalla Avenue’ was launched back in June 2012, almost 9 years ago, but it ran into snags because of alignment and land possession issues as large chunks of land were in adverse possession at the time.
The Phase-I of the Margalla Avenue was 10.39 km, linking GT Road to sector D-12 for a total cost of around Rs1.44 billion with a completion time set as 12 months.
